PUMP AID "WATER FOR LIFE"

Just what's it all about? Its about improving the lives of 100,000's of people living in the rural communities of the eastern highlands of Zimbabwe, not by giving them the latest mobile phone or shiny new trainers, but by simply seeing that there is clean drinking water available.

FACT

More than one billion people are living without safe drinking water, with sub-Saharan Africa being the worst affected. More than three million people die every year from diseases caused by unsafe water. Reality can be very harsh!

The evenings schedule, Drinks, Dinner, Speeches, from Tom & Karen Mercer, Midlands Today's Nick Owen and Mr Entertainment Brian Conley.
Followed by a grand auction hosted by Brian & Nick with such fantastic prizes such as a Villa in Orlando, 4 tickets to MUFC + Dinner & a signed shirt to name just a few.

All the serious money raising side of things over and done it was time for people to roll with laughter as Brian took to the Stage well when I say stage it was more of a box "Brian's opening words"

To compliment Brian's outrageously funny comedy show was the stunning Fiona Culley who was brave enough to sing with Brian and then on her own. Fiona will be releasing her first single later this year and donating the proceeds to Pump Aid.

This is the second time I have been asked to DJ at the Pump Aid Ball, as this function is only the second Ball does this mean that Dave Dee is the resident Pump Aid DJ? Just a thought but thank you for asking me back.

EQUIPMENT USED


We used a cross between our Plasma Show and our Show three, (its nice to be able to mix & match)2 x 42" Plasma's, 6 x DMX moving heads 5k of sound.

It's always nice to be appreciated for what ever you do in life but to receive a thank you card in appreciation of all your hard work, truly is the "icing on the cake"
