Event name:   Sammee & Tori's Joint 13th Birthday Party
Event date:   09/03/2008
Venue:   Shiplake Village Hall Henley - on - Thames

Happy Birthday to Sammie & Tori both born in 1995 which makes them both THIRTEEN! The Dreaded 13 why do people say that? I could not have wished to play for a nicer two girls just take a look at the traditional Mini montage of photos

Sammee (left) brilliantly coordinated & looking stunning in a vivid blue dress, yellow tights, pink pumps with a large roller as a hair accessory. Tori, (right) equally as stunning went for a little pink number with matching nails and heels! HEELS They were soon gone, however the roller lasted the night with no injuies recorded.

The music we play at a 13th Birthday Party is made up mostly of requests from our engagers and their guests, EG who would of thought that Sammee’s favourite song would be the dated Aerosmith track “I don’t want to miss a thing” followed by Tori’s tune of the moment Nickleback’s Rock Star so amazed were Lucy, Jess and Jacob that the passed out falling to the ground while rob completely lost his head!

With parties for 13 year olds we always give the option of games, while I firmly believe games enhance a party and make for a better all round atmosphere. I gave the girls the choice of games or not. They chose games, they were the given a choice of our most popular 5 games:-

• Drinking
• Wrapping
• Bouncing
• Spitting (its not what you think)
• Balancing

The girls decided that the first game to be played would be our wrapping game
One person stands still while the other wraps them up in loo roll a judge is then picked, marks are then given from 0-10 for their wrapping efforts the winner this time Sammee & Sam with a whopping 9.25

Requests are taken & more importantly played so if mom (Eunice) wants to teach the guys a move or two then why not. This she did with ease and enthusiasm to Brown Eyed Girl.

The next game was our Drinking game (sorry there was no vodka) This is simple, 4 people are picked (by the birthday girls) they then in turn pick a partner, sharing the drink between them it’s the first to empty the bottle, on this occasion the winners were David & Abbie

Tonnes of top tunes were played, H two O ft Platnum, what’s it gonna be, Basshunter Now your gone, Soulja Boy Crank That to name a few, with loads of Mika played for Jacob who did quite a good impression of the said guy, quite worrying but never the less very entertaining

Although a shame to stop people from dancing we had to have a break for food and drinks, (thanks Sharon for our tea of chilly and rice it was very nice and much needed) from the food it was time for speeches, thank you's and three highly decorated “Black” birthday cakes beautifully presented and lit by Mamie

Before our next games there was entertainment provided by Sammee and Tori with a host of their friends singing and dancing to the song Fame. Ollie & Han then got to pick their teams to take part in our fast moving hi energy space hopper race.

Bouncing down the hall round a chair and back it was close nit with a little cheating on both sides but the boys (Ollie’s) team did beat the girls … JUST

During the evening lots of people had been asking me to play “a slow song” and ask Sammee to dance with Sam, I must confess I don’t like doing this and under normal circumstances would not, BUT with so much pressure I did crack and give into the request by the smile on Sammee’s face I’m glad I did.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

I’ve been to many different functions over the years that Dave Dee has presided at,

• Hunt Ball’s
• Thirtieth Birthday Parties
• Tobogganing Parties @ Tamworth Snow Dome
• Scores of various aged children’s parties

I’ve never failed to be impressed at how Dave manages to get each occasion spot-on. His service isn’t the same each time, he adapts to suit the occasion.
So when it came to my daughter’s joint 13 disco party, I booked Dave, even though we had moved 150 miles away. I was a little nervous, as I wasn’t certain how Dave could ensure a fab night for young teenagers. I needn’t had worried, Dave lived up to all expectations and a fantastic night was had by all the teenagers, who never left the dance floor (not even when they served the food!).
DJ / Disco is too smaller term for the service Dave offers, I will continue to book him for all our events in the future.

Thanks Dave
