We were booked by Steve Abene to provide the mobile disco at The Moat House, Festival Way, Etruria, Stoke-on-Trent for his and his wife’s joint birthday party

Our aim was to transform the Moat House Ball Room, giving it a night club feel. At our pre event meeting it was decided that:

• We would use our option three equipment package (seen here)
• We would uplight 3 large sections of the back wall to create a large wow effect
• We would arrange and light a 8ft x 8ft centre stage to be used by the singers and later as a podium for dances
• We would provide flame machines at the drinks reception and each side of the disco
• We would provide uplighting around the room
• We would act as both DJ & compare for the evening assisting in smooth running of the evening

The access was great which made it really easy for us to wheel our massive 10k sound system into the venue.

Well mannered things they were, and were suprised that we could play all the music requests they could throw at us… if there’s one thing you have to be when your a DJ, is prepared to anything, none of that “sorry love, never heard of it!”. We even got a few requests to DJ at other upcoming 10th birthday parties, bonus!
